Aid in Native Food Sovereignty.
Inspired by the Netflix film, Gather we bring you a hand crafted gift box for the family to cook together, learn about indigenous foods, and create recipes for everyone to enjoy. We share the mission of food sovereignty for indigenous communities and this gift box directly supports indigenous-owned businesses in Minnesota and New Mexico.
The Book
This gift box features the acclaimed cookbook, The Sioux Chef's Indigenous Kitchen, a recipe book written by Sean Sherman with Beth Dooley, published by the University of MN Press in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Sean Sherman is an Oglala Lakota chef who was born in Pine Ridge, South Dakota and is currently based in South Minneapolis.
So, gather, be inspired, and become part of the change by incorporating native foods unique to North American soil.
